$QCOM - A Complete Trade Example
Starting with a weekly base, into DEM entry and DTF management...
My complete swing system often triggers out of a daily or weekly base, while other times it triggers from a sharp pull back, directly into a DEM (Diagonal Entry Model. In my Base Box Anatomy instruction, I explain that once the governing EMA9 trend ends, price either V-Shapes (DEM) or bases (Base Box).
When the base box forms, the timing aspect takes the centre stage, and once the break out stage has arrived, the base is mature, and I start looking for an entry (DEM).
I took longs at the low in October/November 2023, and sent out plans for these trades at the time. We are now half way into January 2024, a little over two months later, and some of these swing trades have completed.
I wanted to recap one for you, because it is a rare opportunity to document the process from start to finish.
Below, I am going to show in detail, how I got long inside a weekly base with a 0.52% stop, to make a 33.12% gain from entry to stop.
DEM and DTF: repeatable, simple, yet very sophisticated. The key is to learn how to identify the leading leading timeframe, because that is the timeframe that governs the setup, the entry, and the position management during the initial break out or continuation stages.

I need to assume that you have read and understood the instruction. If not, start here.
I have recently discovered that if I take the last low before the EMA9 trend failed, and then take the next point where the EMA9 failed after the EMA50 trend was ended, it gives me the correct size to duplicate and time the trade.
